Due to the record-setting snows in the high Sierra Nevada Mountains this past winter, the 2023 summer camp has been moved from Camp Cole at 7,200 ft. to Camp Rancho Los Mochos at 2,434 ft. Los Mochos is located 18 miles south of the Northern California town of Livermore and 59 miles southeast of San Francisco. The 686 acre wilderness camp offers all of the amenities needed for a great summer camp experience. Get driving directions here.
Come to White Stag Sierra for a high-adventure experience. Camp amid 200 foot tall Ponderosa Pine, Jeffrey Pine, and Sugar Pine.
Outdoors hands-on learning
You’ll be challenged to learn leadership as a team in all kinds of swimming, canoeing, rock climbing, rappelling, and hiking events.
Enjoy mild summer temperatures at 6,700′ in an alpine forest. Hike among more than a dozen lakes. Eat in the outdoors under a full canopy tent. Enjoy a pristine meadow fed by snow melt feeding Lake Spaulding.
Our youth staff says it best: “You make really good friends at White Stag from all over the world. I made a friend in Shanghai, China at White Stag. White Stag helps me get out of my comfort zone and become a lot more spirited. It inspires people to grow and learn.”
