While we strive to keep our leadership camp costs low, we understand that some families still struggle to afford camp fees.

White Stag is for all

We believe our White Stag leadership development camp should be available to all regardless of income. We have received financial support from alumni for a limited number of camperships available to help families with limited means.

If paying for White Stag leadership camp is a financial hardship for your family, we urge you to apply for a campership. The campership can cover up to 80% of camp fees.

Assistance criteria

Your application is individually reviewed by the External link opens in new window White Stag Association. Their decision is based on your family’s economic need. Each candidate participant is eligible to receive one campership per year. Your need for financial help must be clearly evident. Families meeting the following criteria receive priority consideration:

  • Youth living in the Northern and Central California regions.
  • Families with siblings attending camp.
  • First-time attendees.
  • Families who pay as much as they can towards the cost of camp.
  • Applicants who are a member of a youth group.
  • Youth who raise part of the funds to attend camp.
  • Applicants who have completed the online application and Personal Medical Form.

NOTE: To verify your household income, you must send us a copy of the first page of your most recent state or federal tax return with your request for financial help. Be sure to first black out your Social Security number. Your application won’t be considered if this information isn’t attached.

Your request for financial help and your personal information is always confidential. Once your campership application is reviewed, we securely destroy any information you provided us.
